Pilot Sound, NE EDMONTON

Pilot Sound is a Northeast Edmonton neighbourhood established in 1981. Its borders are 66 Street to the west, 153 Avenue to the south, and Anthony Henday Drive to the east and north. There are six neighbourhoods that make up Pilot Sound. Here are three great options:


BRINTNELL

Green space, convenience, and a neighbourhood design focused on community safety— Brintnell is the ideal home for families!


Brintnell is bordered by arterial roadways, but its homes sit along an interior loop road with multiple cul-de-sacs, making Brintnell an excellent and safe choice for families. Residences in Brintnell are majorly single-family dwellings built in the early 2000s.


A pedestrian and cycling pathway connects residents to Brintnell’s outdoor spaces, including various parks, a lake, and the large Brintnell Park in the centre of the neighbourhood. Amenities in the neighbouring Hollick-Kenyon are also within walking distance and Manning Town Centre is conveniently located across the bordering Manning Drive for easy access to all amenities, including Cabela’s, Cineplex, Canadian Tire, various restaurants and more.


Public transit is also easily accessible from Brintnell as the Clareview LRT Station and Transit Centre are minutes away. Brintnell’s close proximity to both Manning Drive and Anthony Henday Drive make getting anywhere in Edmonton a breeze! Convenience and a family-friendly community await you in Brintnell!


HOLLICK-KENYON

With an assortment of housing options, plenty of outdoor space, and convenient amenities within its borders, Hollick-Kenyon should be at the top of your list of desired northeast Edmonton neighbourhoods!


Hollick-Kenyon is part of Edmonton’s Pilot Sound region and features a variety of homes, including single and multi-family residences, all of which were built in the 1990s or later. Whether you’re looking for a single-family home, semi-detached home or other multi-family option, Hollick-Kenyon has it.


Strategically designed pedestrian and cycling pathways connect residents to Hollick-Kenyon’s array of outdoor spaces, including a large lake, linear parks, and the centrally located Hollick-Kenyon Park, complete with a playground and plenty of open space backing onto Dr. Donald Massey School. MATT BERRY

Matt Berry is a residential community featuring plenty of outdoor space and an ideal location on the edge of convenience in northeast Edmonton!


Part of Edmonton’s Pilot Sound neighbourhoods, Matt Berry consists primarily of single-family homes built as early as the 1980s. The majority of residential construction in Matt Berry took place in the 1990s and 2000s.


Matt Berry includes a 9.6-hectare school and park area along its eastern border, which is home to the Edmonton Christian Northeast School. Various smaller parks and linear parks are strategically located throughout the neighbourhood to give residents plenty of outdoor space to use within their community.


While amenities are limited within Matt Berry’s borders, plenty of amenities can be found in the neighbouring community of Hollick-Kenyon and large shopping centres like Manning Town Centre and Londonderry Mall are only a short drive from Matt Berry.


Anthony Henday Drive and Manning Drive are also conveniently located near Matt Berry for quick access to anywhere in Edmonton.
